The Xsara WRC took Citroën to victory for 6 years. Is it difficult to replace it? Not for Citroën. Favouring the new competition rules, Citroën entered the 2007 World Rally Championships with an all new model: the C4 WRC.
With 4 cylinder, 2 litres turbo-charged, over300 horsepower engine, 6-speed sequential gearboxand a four-wheel drive transmissionthe C4 WRC had everything required to become legendary.
Which is exactly what Guy Fréquelin and his famous team: Sébastien Loeb, Daniel Elena and their colleagues achieved;with 37 rally victories. From 2007 to 2010, C4 WRC added to its awards with 3 World Constructors' Champion titles, 4 World Drivers' Champion titles and 4 World Co-pilots Champion titles. What could be better?
